What we do

The Public Service Transformation Academy is a social enterprise, led by public service consultants RedQuadrant, the Whitehall and Industry Group, and partner organisations who are thought leaders in commissioning. Grey Cells Connections Database

The Department of Communities and Local Government's Technology and Digital Futures Strategy have captured almost four hundred pre-published Digital and Technology related case studies from across arrange of English localities. The dataset was initially created to support the briefing needs of the DCLG localities teams but is now published as The Grey Cells Connections Database to allow all partners to access this valuable resource.

The database stores only pre-published information and case studies on who, where and what is happening in the development of digital based projects and schemes across English Local authorities and local projects. The data is set-up on project by project basis and provides direct links to websites, case studies and publications containing more detail on each specific case.

This vast resource enables anyone to use the data and information as they wish. Click here to see one way that some of the case studies have been geo-tagged and brought to life in an interactive map.

The database will be updated in 2015. In the meantime if you would like to feature a case study on either the Transformation Network's website or the Local Digital website then This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
